SUBMIT A FILM TO THE ATELIER OFFoff DATABASE

Belgium-based filmmakers ★ max 30' ★ deadline: 25/10 ★ screening: 01/11

← back to Open Screening

We are starting a database of films by Belgium-based artists, and we invite you to contribute. We’d like to create a library of films that will grow over time. The collection will be used for future screenings, programs and performances.

What happens to the films?

Every few months we would like to host a free open screening of films from the database. (The first one will be 01/11)

For each edition, we will invite curators to explore the database and make a selection of films to be presented in the cinema. Not being included in the first screening does not mean that your film has been rejected. It can be a part of the next event!

About the film

Tell us something about the film (what it is, how it came about, what questions surround it).

Access

Only a large file and no link? Upload it to our Proton Drive folder and enter the file name below.

Associated material

Share one or more elements that influenced or surrounded this work: a text you read, an image, a sound, a note from your phone, a voice message, another film, a question the work posed but didn't answer. This will be presented alongside your film in the database and can be used in activations.

What is it and what role did it play in relation to the work?

Sharing your work

Standard copyright means "all rights reserved": nobody can use your work without explicit permission. Creative Commons is a way of sharing your work more openly while still deciding how others can use it. You stay the maker. You choose the conditions. And anyone using your work has to respect them.

For Atelier OFFoff, sharing your film under a Creative Commons licence means it can be shown, programmed and activated by others in the community, and that anyone who uses your work can see exactly what they can and can't do with it.

Read more about Creative Commons at creativecommons.org.

Do you want to require attribution for your work? *

Attribution means anyone using your film must credit you as the maker. We strongly recommend yes.

Do you allow others to use your work commercially? *

Atelier OFFoff will not use it for commercial purposes. We recommend no.

Do you allow others to remix, adapt, or build upon your work? *

Atelier OFFoff wants the community to reuse each other's material in different ways. We recommend yes.
